About Glengarry Fine Cheese

Founded by Margaret Peters Morris on the Peters’ family farm ancestral lands,
Glengarry Fine Cheese has a rich history. Starting in the early 1990s, Margaret began
making cheese from the farm milk and developed recipes that are now the base of the
varieties produced in the plant to date.

The inclusion of a cheesemaking facility was a natural addition to the business Margaret
had in progress, Glengarry Cheesemaking Supply Inc. This company specializes in
offering technical support to farmstead cheesemakers, equipment/ingredients and
supplies for farmstead and artisan cheesemaking. To have an artisan plant was
Margaret’s dream and is now her life’s vocation.

Each batch at Glengarry Fine Cheese is made with passion for cheese quality. Our
cheeses are aged in our European designed aging rooms, creating the perfect
environment for them to develop their mouth-watering finish over time.
